DR 757 Blower Is Drop-In Replacement for Widely Used 707 Model
KENT, OH - AMETEK Technical and Industrial Products has developed a new regenerative blower as a replacement for its DR 707 regenerative blower that is widely used in the concrete industry. The blower is used both in material fluidization and bag house filtration applications.
The new DR757 offers significant performance enhancements versus the DR707, including a 20% improvement in efficiency and patented noise cancellation technology. Both the DR 757 and 707 blowers feature rugged, compact construction, reliability and long life.
The DR 757 blower's design is based on a revolutionary sound attenuation method that results in a significant sound reduction. Further reductions are achievable through the use of sound enclosures. The DR 757 also achieves significant 20% energy savings versus its predecessor-the DR 707 regenerative blower. Powering the DR 757 blower is a rugged 4 horsepower (HP) motor that draws less than 7 amps, compared with a 9-amp, 5HP motor on the DR 707.
