Durable UV-VIS Enhanced Broadband Reflective Coating



Acton Research Corporation is pleased to announce the introduction of a new UV-VIS enhanced Al+SiO2 optical coating for OEM applications. The new #3000-SI coating is more durable than conventional UV Al+MgF2 coatings. It allows easier handling and can be cleaned using recommended solvents and procedures. The #3000-SI coating also survives mil-spec adhesion and temp/humidity cycling. It is optimized for maximum UV reflectance with > 89% reflectance from 250 - 300nm and also good broadband reflectance from 200 to 700nm. The new coating is well suited for N2 laser use as well as analytical applications that require good coating stability, durability and enhanced UV-VIS reflectance.
