Changeover Dry Reed Switches Now Available from Coto
Coto Technology has introduced the RI-90 Series changeover dry reed switch. With an initial contact resistance of 140 milliohms (max), the switch is ideal for high-reliability applications in Automatic Test Equipment, Security, Industrial and Consumer Applications. Additionally, the RI-90's Form C contact configuration offers more options for reed switch sensors applications.
Coto's RI-90 Series, with a 15mm max glass length, is a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) type, having three contacts: a common contact, a normally-open contact and a normally-closed contact. When brought in the proximity of a magnetic field, the common contact will first open with normally-closed (NC), and then make contact with the normally-open (NO) contact as long as the magnetic field is applied.
