Micro SIL Reed Relay Switches 50 Watts and 1,000 Volts
A new series of compact, high power micro SIL reed relays that provide high insulation resistance and are available with an optional external EMI shield is being introduced by MEDER electronic Inc. of Mashpee, Massachusetts.
MEDER MS Series Micro SIL Reed Relays are available with up to 50 Watt contact rating and are capable of up to 1,000 Volt switching, with up to 3 AMP carry current. Featuring molded construction with an internal magnetic shield providing 1013 Ohms typical insulation resistance, they are offered in 5 V and 12 V versions with optional external EMI shielding.
Designed for pick-an-place assembly equipment, MEDER MS Series Micro SIL Reed Relays measure only 15.2mm x 5.0mm x 7.2mm and have 1-Form-A (SPST) contacts. These devices are suitable for close placement on PC boards and are UL, VDE, and EN60950 approved.
