MEDER electronic, Inc. today introduced the RM series reed relay. The RM Series is a low profile module having three input-output options - 4 inputs with four, two, and 1 outputs (4/2, 4/4, 4/1 in-/outputs respectively) on a rugged thermoset epoxy overmolded FR-4 substrate.
Capable of switching beyond 3 GHz with <40ps rise time, this relay module switches into the billions of operations. Its leadless SMT design eliminates skewing and co-planarity concerns. The short BGA terminals allow a short signal path that makes the RM series perfect for RF applications and reflow up to 260 degrees C.
The RM series package height is only 0.157 inches, allowing parallel board stacking.
