Reed Relay has >10E+14 ohms insulation resistance.

Press Release Summary:

Low-profile CR-Series leadless 50 Ohm reed relay switches at speeds up to 6 GHz with less than 40 ps rise times. To eliminate potential packaging stress, it is made with ceramic case that matches thermal coefficient of expansion of reed switch glass and reed lead. Capable of withstanding reflow soldering operations up to 260 deg C, it uses no internal solder, and has 1 microV typical thermal offset. Relay measures 8.6 x 4.4 x 3.4 mm.

Small Reed Relay Switches 6 GHz With <40 PS Rise Times

A new reed relay which they claim is the smallest available and switches into the billions of operations for ATE and high frequency applications is being introduced by MEDER electronic Inc. of Mashpee, Massachusetts.

The MEDER CR-Series Reed Relay is a low-profile device made with a ceramic case that exactly matches the thermal coefficient of expansion of the reed switch glass and the reed lead to eliminate any potential packaging stress. Capable of switching up to 6 GHz with <40 ps rise times for digital operations, this leadless 50 Ohm reed relay is the smallest in the industry and switches into the billions of operations, claims the firm.

Capable of withstanding reflow soldering operations up to 260 deg C, the MEDER CR-Series Reed Relay uses no internal solder and has 1 microV typical thermal offset. Measuring only 8.6 mm x 4.4 mm x 3.4 mm, the leadless design eliminates skewing of leads and coplanarity issues. Insulation resistance typical to all points is >10E+14 Ohms.

MEDER CR-Series Reed Relays are offered in shielded and unshielded versions priced from $1.00 to $3.00 each, depending upon configuration and quantity. Literature, samples, and price quotations are available upon request.
