RedPrairie First WMS Provider to Demonstrate ARIA Based Applications

Milwaukee, WI and Orlando, FL - RedPrairie Corporation, a leading consumer driven optimization company, announced today that it is demonstrating ARIA (Adaptive Recognition & Information Assurance) based warehouse execution applications this week at its annual user conference and industry summit, RedShift 2007.

ARIA, a concept developed by leading rugged mobile computer manufacturer LXE Inc., is a framework for achieving new levels of efficiency, velocity, visibility and accuracy in Supply Chain Execution. ARIA combines the strengths of multiple technologies, such as RFID, voice recognition, sensors and wearable computing, with next generation software applications and new business processes so that warehouse operators can execute warehouse transactions more naturally, efficiently and effectively.

The ARIA demonstrations will be driven by RedPrairie's Warehouse Management software and will be supported by voice directed technologies from Voxware, a leader in voice logistics solutions; vehicle mounted RFID readers and wearable voice computers from LXE; and RFID device management software provided by GlobeRanger, a leading provider of RFID, mobility and sensor-based edge software solutions.

Comments Gary Morgan, RedPrairie vice president technical services, "With ARIA and RedPrairie solutions, companies will be able to better leverage emerging technologies like RFID and Voice to optimize people and processes. The ARIA concept immediately separates LXE from their competition and shows the depth and flexibility of RedPrairie's solution. No one else in the industry has previously accomplished this. We are aligned with a unique partner to take the logistics industry to the next level."

Says Dick Sorenson, LXE's RFID director, "We are very excited to see the ARIA concept coming to life. Having an industry leader like RedPrairie behind the concept helps validate our belief that ARIA will truly be the next evolution in supply chain execution."

ARIA Benefits To Be Demonstrated:

o Turbo-charged operator productivity. ARIA based processes can incorporate technologies that automatically collect data for the warehouse operator allowing operators to focus just on moving inventory.

o Increased inventory accuracy. The automatic collection of data insures data integrity. ARIA based solutions can also detect and correct mistakes real time during the execution of the task, assuring that the warehouse operator executes the task as requested.

o Reduced operator training time. ARIA based processes are more intuitive, easy-to-use, and easy-to-understand.

o More satisfied customers. Receive the correct product in the correct quantities; provide the right products available for sale; and eliminate error corrections processing in receiving and invoicing paperwork due to mis-shipments.
