RecordFusion Expands in Michigan; Implements Land Records Management System in Hillsdale County

NEW CASTLE, Pa., Oct. 11 / - RecordFusion, a leading provider of end-to-end records management solutions, has successfully implemented its CountyFusion land records management system in the Hillsdale County, Michigan Register of Deeds office.

The implementation marks the second Michigan county that has signed on to RecordFusion's system. The first was Montcalm County, which went live in June 2007.

The Hillsdale County implementation features RecordFusion's software suite, including cashiering, automated indexing, workflow, web portal, assessment integration, customized reporting, full legacy system data conversion, disaster recovery services, training, and redaction.

"The system is so easy to use, there is basically no learning curve for my staff or the title searchers," said Bambi Somerlott, Hillsdale County's Register of Deeds. "They jump on and instinctively know what to do. We also enjoy working with the RecordFusion staff; (they have) customized the system to accommodate statutes particular to Michigan and Hillsdale County's office practices and kept us updated at every point in the project. Questions are answered quickly and courteously. We're very pleased with the system and the company."

RecordFusion protects the Register of Deeds' office with multiple-level data replication. All documents recorded at the office are immediately backed up - both within the county office and at RecordFusion's New Castle, PA data center facility - ensuring the county's data is completely safe and secure. The county also uses RecordFusion redaction technology to remove constituents' private information from documents recorded at the Register of Deeds office.

"Customer satisfaction is our highest priority," said Bill Welge, President of RecordFusion. "Our team worked diligently on this seamless integration so Hillsdale County could experience quick turnaround and the highest level of accuracy in its records."
