The new saw has a gear protecting clutch that greatly expands the life of the tool by offering maximum protection from impacts. It has the longest average mechanical life of all recip saws in the category. The Milwaukee-built motor has more power and the tool offers a 0 to 2800 SPM variable speed trigger, with 1-1/8" blade stroke length for faster cutting and a Quik-Lok(TM) blade clamp for fast, tool-less blade changes. This new model is constructed with a more durable double bearing wobble plate mechanism and has a rubber boot for superior gripping. The tool is double insulated and has a heavy duty 8-foot Quik-Lok® three-wire grounded rubber cord. At only 7 pounds, this is one of the lightest tools in its category. A keyless adjustable shoe provides longer blade life and more cut control. Blades may be clamped upside down for special cutting needs.
