Milwaukee Introduces New Longest Life Sawzall® Reciprocating Saw
With new 10 amp motor tool has more power and weighs only 7 pounds
Brookfield, WI (December 2002) - Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation introduces the new Sawzall reciprocating saw, with the world's longest life. It features an upgraded Milwaukee-built 10-amp motor while maintaining tool weight of only 7 pounds. This new tool offers many new upgrades and actually increases the product durability and life from 2X to 7X the life of competitive recip saws, which allows contractors to "move up" to the Original - Sawzall reciprocating saw.
The new Model 6509 Sawzall offers a 0 - 2800 SPM variable speed trigger with 3/4-inch stroke length and a Quik-Lok blade clamp for fast, tool-less blade changes. It features a new rubber boot for superior gripping. The adjustable shoe provides longer blade life and more cut control. Blades may be clamped upside down for special cutting needs.
This new model offers legendary Sawzall reciprocating saw durability and is constructed with a double bearing wobble plate mechanism and lighter spindle for less vibration. It also has all-round bushings and a larger gear for longer life. The tool is double insulated and has a heavy duty "S" jacket 8 foot two-wire rubber cord.
The new 6509 Sawzall uses standard half-inch shank Sawzall blades and is ideal for general contractors, plumbers, electricians, builders, HVAC, steel fabrication, remodeling, deck building and plant maintenance applications.
Milwaukee's new Model 6509-22 Sawzall kit version comes in an impact resistant carrying case with two Super Sawzall blades and as a tool only version (model 6509-20) that also includes two Super Sawzall blades.
