This rechargeable UV LED spotlight is extremely durable and produces a 365 nanometer ultraviolet light beam that is effective for illuminating UV identifiers, even at a distance, making it ideal for commercial and professional applications. Weighing only 14 ounces and equipped with a 3 watt LED and lithium ion battery pack, this unit provides comfortable operation and will run for 16 hours on a single charge. Weather resistant and constructed of aluminum and high impact nylon, this LED spotlight is very durable and can withstand the demanding conditions often encountered in commercial, military, and law enforcement operations.
The RL-85-3W-1-UV365 UVLED Spotlight from Larson Electronics' Magnalight is designed to provide a rugged and portable UV light source that can withstand demanding environments while offering long run times on a single charge. Ideal for use in law enforcement, commercial testing, and military applications, this rechargeable UV spotlight produces a 365Nm ultra-violet light beam and can run for up to 16 hours on a single charge of its lithium-ion battery pack. The innovative pistol grip design of this spotlight provides an ergonomic grip that prevents fatigue and gives a secure grip even in slippery or wet conditions. Built to be extremely durable, the body of this unit is constructed of high impact nylon; the LED lamp housing is formed from machined aluminum with an unbreakable Lexan lens, and heavy duty 16 gauge wiring and thick internal connectors round out the rugged design. The machined aluminum light head assembly can be simply unscrewed and removed if needed, and the rest of the unit is designed to be serviced without tools, making this rechargeable spotlight extremely easy to service in the field. A three watt ultra-violet LED and patented reflector assembly produces a powerful UV light beam that can effectively illuminate UV strips or insignia on military uniforms, identify UV tagged persons or objects, and reveal flaws and imperfections in surfaces and materials, even at a distance. An included universal smart charger provides a full charge of the lithium-ion batteries in two hours and will not overcharge if the unit is left connected once the batteries are fully charged. The lithium-ion batteries in this unit do not require special charging practices, will last through over 1,000 charging cycles, and will not suffer from degradation or memory issues if only charged partially between uses. This ultra-violet spotlight is weather, impact, and vibration resistant and will provide years of reliable service even under demanding conditions.
