Re-Start Device Re-Boots Locked-Up Video Cameras

A new, compact module that can be easily installed onto all popular IP video cameras and servers to detect when they've locked-up (frozen) and automatically re-boot them, especially in mission-critical applications, is being introduced by VideogeniX, Inc. of Brookline, Massachusetts.

The iPulse(TM) Module is an intelligent device that detects when a network camera has locked-up and automatically provides a full re-start to keep it functioning properly. Eliminating potentially disastrous surveillance interruptions and costly service calls, it simply plugs into the camera's I/O port, uses the same power source, and includes plug-and-play software.

Designed for wired-, wireless-, and POE (Power over Ethernet) cameras, the iPulse(TM) Module measures only 1-1/4" x 2" x 3/4" and works with Axis, Vivotek, Sony, JVC, Panasonic, Pelco, Toshiba and other security cameras. Other versions are offered for use with modems, routers, switches, card readers, access controllers, and related devices subject to locking-up.

The iPulse(TM) Module is priced from $89.95 (list). Literature is available upon request. Distributor and dealer inquiries are invited.
