Raveon Technologies Corporation Announces New Version of GPS Tracking Software


Raveon Technologies announced a major upgrade to its RavTrack PC GPS tracking software program. RavTrack PC is a GPS tracking program for Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), asset tracking, and personal location. It works with Raveon's unique line of real-time GPS transponders, allowing fast and secure GPS tracking with no recurring fees.

With the release of RavTrack PC version 3.0, Raveon's RavTrack GPS tracking system can now be used for tracking much larger fleets of vehicles. RavTrack 3.0 has major enhancements in its database engine, supporting both Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server databases. Along with improvements in the database engine, RavTrack PC now works with Microsoft MapPoint 2010 to facilitate reverse geo-coding and routing.

Other new additions introduced in RavTrack PC 3.0 are:

Automatic Log Table backup engine

Automatic Log Table pruning

Create Log-based reports from the active log, or a backup Log file

Support for multiple-maps embedded within one single .maplib file

Main-window drop-down selection of multiple maps

Reverse geo-coding (address look-up) using Microsoft MapPoint 2010

Street address information is now included in log entry

Support for Microsoft MapPoint 2010. Display labeled Icons and list vehicles

Ability to geo-fence filter reports

Ability to limit alerts to specific times

Ability to limit alerts to specific days of the week

Specific geo-fenced areas used to create reports on the activity within them

Added Daily, Weekly, and Monthly vehicle usage reports

Support for Microsoft SQL Server database

Added drop-down list of user-configurable locations to quickly center map on
