FCI Introduces the Y1MR Enhanced Ratchet HYTOOL(TM)
Featuring an increased application range, custom molded handles, and the industry's best tool warranty, FCI's BURNDY Y1MR full cycle ratchet HYTOOL is now available.
The Y1MR is equipped with 4 color-coded die grooves and will accommodate a range of #8 to #1 Cu Lugs and Splices as well as the related copper C-Tap connectors. In addition to standard Red, Blue, and Grey grooves, the Y1MR offers an upgraded combination Brown/Green die groove.
The combination groove can be used for standard Brown applications as well as for crimping a Green YAICL-type connector with #1 Awg or #2 Flex Cu conductor. The die will emboss the connector with both the Brown #10 and the Green #11 indexes for inspection purposes.

FCI's full line of BURNDY mechanical hand crimping tools is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five years from the date of shipment. Any tool found to be defective without abuse or misuse will be repaired free of charge.
In addition to increased functionality, the YlMR's ergonomically improved frame design provides custom molded handles for improved grip and comfort. A tool kit consisting of a metal carrying case, range of Cu Lugs (one hole tongue) and Splices is also available.
