TEKO Launches New Larger Raspberry Pi Enclosures
TEKO’s new TEK-RPI-XL enclosures offer more room for break out boards and add-on modules
TEKO has launched a new range of larger enclosures for Raspberry Pi 2 and model B+ computers.
It coincides with the fifth million Raspberry Pi rolling off the production line at the Sony UK Technology Centre in Bridgend, Wales, UK.
TEK-RPI-XL’s extra height enables the easy inclusion of supplementary break out PCBs and add-on modules.
The new enclosure’s globally recognized features make it the most adaptable solution currently available on the market.
Features include LED light pipes, a Raspberry Pi mount with screw, easy snap-on closing, base section air vents plus a cut-out to accommodate a GPIO 40 pin ribbon cable.
The new enclosures are available in one size (3.961” x 2.894” x 1.673”) and three standard colors: black (RAL 9004), white (RAL 7035) and transparent. They are molded in flame retardant ASYBLEND T65 (ABS+PC, V0).
The new TEK-RPI-XL enclosures offer a larger alternative to TEKO’s existing TEK-BERRY+ range (3.961” x 2.894” x 1.122”).
Accessories common to both ranges include the RPI-VESA adaptor, the RPI-CAM button camera enclosure and the RPI-COOLKIT heatsinks cooling kit.
TEKO also offers a wide range of customizing services including CNC machining; RFI shielding; digital, silk screen and tampo printing of legends and logos; custom colors; special finishes such as wood effects, soft look and soft touch coatings; membrane keypads and packaging.
