Rapid Prototyping System has second generation PolyJet(TM).

Press Release Summary:

Eden330(TM) provides accurate models with smooth surfaces due to thinned horizontal build layers of 0.0006 in., which eliminate stair effects. Second generation PolyJet technology includes Single-Head Replacement jetting head, and model build size measures 13.5 x 13 x 8 in. Product utilizes FullCure(TM) 700 photopolymer resins that produce flexible, impact-resistant models that can be machined, drilled, painted, chrome-plated, glued, or used as molds.

Original Press Release:

Eden330(TM) Rapid Prototyping System

Rehovot, Israel, May 13, 2003- Objet Geometries announced today the launch of the Eden330(tm) Rapid Prototyping system, featuring 2nd generation PolyJet(tm), at the Rapid Prototyping & Manufacturing Show, booth # 1025, in Chicago.

High-quality models

The Eden330 includes major enhancements aimed at providing accurate models with extremely smooth surfaces. This is due to thinned horizontal build layers of 16 microns (0.0006 inches) - the finest resolution in the market, which eliminates any "stair" effect.

Operator-level maintenance

The newly designed, 2nd generation PolyJet technology features the SHR (Single-Head Replacement jetting head), allowing the heads to be easily replaced by the Eden330 operator.

Large build size

The Eden330 features the largest model build size for standard rapid prototyping systems: 340mm x 330mm x 200mm (13.5" x 13" x 8"). This size enables users to produce larger models in one build or to efficiently produce several smaller models.

New FullCure(tm) 700 resins

Objet's new FullCure(tm) 700 series of photopolymer resins is used with the Eden330.

These new resins produce flexible, impact-resistant models, enabling snap fits and certain functional applications; models can be machined, drilled, painted, chrome-plated, glued or used as a mold.

Field upgradeability

Current owners of Objet RP systems may upgrade their systems to the Eden330.

Hanan Yosefi, Objet Geometries' President, says: "We are celebrating five years of success. Today, we have Objet RP systems operating in 18 countries, including world-leading companies, as well as small- to-mid-size companies, who see our system as offering the best solution for creating master patterns and reducing their product-development time. Our PolyJet technology is mature, but with high potential for growth, in the areas of material properties, speed, resolution or build size."

About Objet Geometries

Objet Geometries Ltd. develops, produces and markets Rapid Prototyping systems and resins that use PolyJet(tm) - Polymer-Jetting technology to create three-dimensional models directly from CAD files. Objet is the pioneer in jetting polymers and is the only company to offer a proven balance of accurate, clean, smooth and detailed prototypes, on an easy-to-use platform, all at an affordable price.

Objet's product line enables manufacturers and industrial designers to reduce product-development cycles and dramatically decrease time-to-market of new products. Objet's customers in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia include world leaders in various industries: toys, electronics, automotive, medical, consumer goods, and footwear.
