Swissray Introduces 16 Bit Imaging Technology and ddRCombi Trauma at RSNA 2004


ELIZABETH, N.J., Nov. 22 -- Swissray International Inc. will introduce at the Radiological Society of North America - RSNA -- Annual Meeting in Chicago many unique new innovations for its market leading direct digital Radiography product line. RSNA starts November 28th and ends December 2nd.

All Swissray digital radiography systems will be presented to the market utilizing the latest 16 Bit Imaging Technology. This new and unique HD-16 technology will provide unmatched image quality for radiographic images at lowest patient radiation dose. The 16 Bit digital detectors will acquire images with over 65,000 grey levels which results in increased and improved diagnostic information compared to any other competing product offers.

Swissray will also introduce its newest ddR system the ddRCombi Trauma. This system is designed to provide fast, highest quality digital imaging in the demanding environment of a busy Emergency Department. With this system, traumatized patients can be easily imaged from head to toe, AP and lateral, without being moved. The ddRCombi Trauma features a fixed table with elevating base, 4 way floating table top and automatic positioning of the detector for cross table imaging with the convenient push of a single button on a wireless remote control. Fully processed images are available for review in just 5 seconds. With the ddRCombi Trauma, critically injured patients can be quickly imaged and diagnosed, saving time and lives.
