Class 1 Bluetooth(TM) Radio Module



(Gaithersburg, MD) - June 3, 2002 - Wilcoxon Research, Inc. of Gaithersburg, MD is proud to introduce the C1B, a 100-meter range, 2.4 GHz "Industrial Strength" Bluetooth(TM) transceiver module. Built upon the Bluecore(TM) chip, the C1B module conforms to Bluetooth V1.1 specifications and is compatible with Casira(TM) development system.

The C1B integrates all the RF, bandbase processing, timing and power conditioning functionality for plug-in compatibility with the Casira development system in a Class 1 Host controller Interface (HCI) module. Included features are 100-meter link range, -40 to 85° C operating temperature and 79 channels within the 2.4 GHz industrial, scientific and medical (ISM) band. Its small size has 100 mW output power in a 19 mm x 48 mm x 5 mm module.
