Mountain RF Sensors, Inc. Announces the MtRF-4100 Series Radio Direction Finder (RDF) Systems

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., -- Providing another answer to the question “What have you been missing?” Mountain RF Sensors is announcing their new line of Radio Direction Finders, the MtRF-4100 Series. Two years of research & development have produced a system that is accurate, reliable, and cost effective. Utilizing dual 6-element Doppler arrays, the system covers 30 MHz to 1000 MHz. An optional ferrite loop array extends the low-end frequency coverage to 2 MHz.

The antenna array is rugged enough for both land and marine installations. The DF receiver/processor is a complete stand-alone unit and is ideal for remote SIGINT and spectrum monitoring applications. The MtRF-4100 Series support both analog audio (narrow band) and digital I&Q (wide band) outputs. Communication is available via RS-232 serial, USB, and Ethernet ports. The receivers use a 16 bit 130 MHz A/D converter and an Altera Cyclone III FPGA to achieve both high sensitivity and dynamic range.

The MtRF-4100 Series receiver/processor is offered in an 8.75” x 6.50” x 2.02” module or 1U 19” rack version.
