Workstation Has Two Removable Hard Drives

A new rack-mount custom-built workstation from CyberResearch® features dual removable hard drives that can be individually locked for maximum data security and portability. The workstation includes a front-access USB port and either a 7-slot PISA or PICMG backplane so you can use both PCI and ISA boards.

All drives are accessible from the front of the NIW 1207 workstation, including optional dual removable 3.5" drives and included CD-ROM and floppy drives.

One USB port is also included on the front of the unit. USB characteristics depend on the CPU card selected. A front panel door protects the drives and USB port when they are not in use.

NIW 1207 workstations from CyberResearch, Inc., are easy to use, with a high-bright 250-nit 12.1" LCD display and optional analog-resistive touchscreen. Sealed front-panel controls include 49 data-entry keys, 10 function keys, and on-screen display menu controls.

These workstations come with a choice of 7-slot backplanes. The PISA back-plane provides 2 ISA and 4 PCI slots. The PICMG backplane provides either 2 ISA and 4 PCI or 3 ISA and 3 PCI slots.

In addition to workstations - now shipping from stock - CyberResearch, Inc., also offers panel-mount, rack-mount, and desktop PCs, as well as CPU cards, data-acquisition, and motion-control systems. For more product information, call Joe Tetreault at 800-341-2525, or visit www.cyberresearch.com.
