Vaddio Debuts New PreVIEW HD Dual and Triple LCD Rack Mount Monitors
MINNEAPOLIS, MN (January 29, 2009) - Vaddio, the leading manufacturer and OEM distributor of specialty PTZ cameras and high-end camera control systems used in the broadcasting, audio/visual and videoconferencing industries, announced today the release of the new PreVIEW(TM) HD Dual 7.0 and PreVIEW HD Triple 5.0 LCD Rack Mount Monitors.
"Our new line of PreVIEW HD monitors offer 16:9 aspect ratio LCD screens that are backlit by LEDs, which provide a bright, evenly lit screen," explained Vaddio President, Rob Sheeley. "In addition to component, composite and S-video inputs, we've also added a VGA input that allows a variety of resolutions up to SXGA. Both the Dual 7.0 and Triple 5.0 have 1.2 megapixel screens, making them ideal for viewing HD signals."
The PreVIEW HD Dual 7.0 features two 7-inch (17.78 cm) high definition LCD monitors, while the PreVIEW HD Triple 5.0 features three 5-inch (12.7 cm) high definition monitors - both with exceptional video clarity and color handling. They provide cleaner, sharper 16:9 video images ideal for applications that require high resolution monitoring of HD and SD cameras.
The native widescreen displays now have an internal menu to adjust each monitor's settings, which include brightness, contrast, color, tint, sharpness and several other advanced options. In addition to SD, HD and S-video inputs, with active loop-thru outputs, there is also an analog RGB input on a VGA connector. Tally lights are located above each monitor to provide visual indication of which feed is live when connected to a tally of an external device such as Vaddio's ProductionVIEW(TM) HD. The high-resolution LCD screens (800 x RGB x 480) are backlit by LEDs for a brighter, more evenly lit screen when compared with fluorescent backlit monitors. Both monitors feature over 1 million pixels for greater detail required to focus HD cameras. The monitors can also be tilted up and down for optimum viewing angle.
