New 4U Chassis with Hot-Swap Power Options
A new 4U ATX rack-mount chassis from CyberResearch, Inc. comes with a 350W power supply, but offers hot-swap 300W, 400W, and 500W options. Three 14-slot backplanes offer different combinations of PCI and ISA expansion slots. The motherboard version has 5 to 7 slots, depending on motherboard selected.
Nothing beats hot-swap power supplies for reliable industrial computing. That's why the new CyberResearch® RDF series of chassis lets you choose 300W, 400W, or 500W hot-swap power supplies. Backplanes for the chassis come with a PICMG single-board computer slot, plus three combinations of PCI and ISA slots: 12 PCI/1 ISA, 7 PCI/6 ISA, or 4 PCI/9 ISA slots.
For versatile mass storage, all versions provide front access to one 3.5" drive bay and four 5.25" bays, plus two internal 3.5" bays. Front-access bays are protected by lockable steel doors.
RDF MX motherboard versions are cooled by a 120mm fan in front and an 80mm fan on the rear surface. Backplane versions have the same front fan, but the rear fan is replaced by expansion slots.
