Quiet Chassis Cuts Noise by 24~28 dB

New CyberResearch® RCQ MX-400 3U chassis include engineered sound treatments that cut noise by 24 to 28 dB, compared to untreated chassis. Noise dampers are internal and have no effect on rack mounting. Advanced thermal monitoring keeps temperatures under control and ensures that all fans are working.

Rack-mount areas are frequently plagued with high noise levels, since there is little or nothing to block noise and plenty of flat metal surfaces to vibrate. That's why CyberResearch, Inc. offers the acoustically treated RCQ MX-400 chassis. Internal sound dampers reduce its noise by about 24 to 28 dB. Advanced thermal monitoring detects temperatures at two points and tracks the performance of up to eight cooling fans. A DVD-RW drive is included.

The motherboard-ready chassis has front access to six shock-mounted drive bays, four 5.25" bays and two 3.5". There are also two internal vertical 3.5" bays. Five to seven expansion slots, depending on the selected motherboard, have a maximum card length of 11.8". If a typical 5.25" drive is mounted in the left-hand bays, maximum card length is reduced to 10.2"

In addition to RCQ MX-400 chassis - shipping from stock from $550 - CyberResearch, Inc., also offers industrial PCs, and monitors, as well as CPU cards, data acquisition, and motion control.
