Optima Announces New Cabinet Enclosure for Broadcast and Data Center Applications



Lawrenceville, GA, - Optima EPS, an Elma Company, a leading designer and manufacturer of cabinet enclosures, has announced a new rack with several features geared towards the broadcast and server application environments.

Elma's new IT cabinet features an extrusion-based modular design, advanced cable management, and convex perforated doors. With a modular design, it is easy for Optima to customize to a customer's specific requirements, saving time and costs. Geared for cable-intensive applications, the cabinet has several cable managers, brackets, D-rings, Velcro straps, bundle retainers, and more. Other options include cable spacers, fiber optic cable manager, and a brush cable manager which allow cables through but contain airflow for thermal management. The shape of the front and rear doors are convex to accommodate extra space for cabling. The unit also has top front and top rear cable access panels.

Other features of the cabinet include integrated ground points and independent removable sides, panels, and doors. Multiple EIA-310 standard mounting rail options are available, including to IEC 60297-2. There are also options for incorporating thermal management and power conditioning.

A wide range of accessories, powder paint colors, and custom options are available for Optima's cabinets. The company also offers rack enclosures for various applications, desktop cabinets, and desk consoles.
