Quick Release Couplings have self-venting capabilities.

Press Release Summary:

Bi-Tec Series quick release couplings utilize combination of sliding valve and quick lock mechanism. With pressure-less coupling, only resistance is force of spring. Pushing blue sliding valve forward allows pressure to build up, and venting process starts when sliding sleeve is moved into home position. Available in industry standard sizes, products can be manufactured out of brass, steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

Original Press Release:

Bi-Tec Quick Release Couplings Offer Self Venting Capabilities

The Jilson Group is now offering a full line of premier quality quick release couplings in a wide variety of materials, sizes, and configurations. Distinctive among this product group is the Bi-Tec Series of self venting, quick release coupling. The combination of a sliding valve and quick lock mechanism makes the handling and safety function of the Bi-Tec Series so unique.

The coupling process is pressure-less; simply press the connector into the coupling. The only resistance is the force of the spring. Pushing the blue sliding valve forward will allow pressure to be built-up. In this position, it is impossible, by error or deliberately, to interrupt the connection. The venting process starts when the sliding sleeve is moved into its home position. The connector can be removed by actuating the unlocking sleeve.

Jilson quick disconnect couplings are patented and precision engineered. They are available in industry standard sizes and can be manufactured out of brass, steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, with various plating and sealing options.
