Connect-Under-Pressure Coupling Solves Thermal Expansion Issues
Snap-tite, Inc is proud to announce the latest edition to our "Drybreak" coupling line, the 74/CP74 Series ISO 16028 Drybreak, Flat Face, Quick Disconnect. These units conform to the newly approved ISO 16028 international standard and are available in sizes from 1/4" to 1". The CP74 option features the ability to connect under pressure with either half (nipple or coupling) under static pressures as high as 3625psi (250 bar). Applications for this type of coupling include any that typically see pressure increases due to thermal expansion similar to that found on construction equipment, Skid Steer Loaders, and utility service vehicles that use hydraulic fluid as an attachment power source.
