New Glass Quenching Conveyor From Carman Industries Tough Enough For Operation In Wet, Corrosive and Abrasive Environments
Jeffersonville, IN - Carman Industries introduces a Vibrating Glass Quenching Conveyor with replaceable abrasion-resistant chrome-carbide conveying/quenching trough. The quench pool is maintained by an integral inclined ramp and specially designed drain system.
After quenching, solidified cullet settles to the trough bottom and conveys along the length of the trough until emerging from the pool. A specially designed "wicking lip" minimizes water carryover to downstream equipment.
The entire conveyor system is designed to operate under highly abrasive and corrosive conditions with very little maintenance. This heavy duty Carman Quenching Conveyor features rubber drive springs and a piston drive with double-row bearings, single-point lubrication system, and a drip shield for bearing protection. The 24 inch wide by 31 foot long conveyor also includes a corrosion resistant epoxy paint system.
