Aesthetic Low Profile Quarter-Turn For 32 x 20.1 mm Cut Out
STERLING, VIRGINIA - DIRAK, a global innovator in latches, locks and hinges, has further expanded its quarter-turn product offering to include an aesthetic low profile SNAP-LINE quarter-turn with a 32x20.1 mm cutout incorporating D-SNAP Technology. This new quarter-turn can accommodate up to 25 different inserts for locking doors, flaps and side panels in enclosures and machine covers.
Due to its aesthetic design, the only required space for installation is a standard rectangular cutout which makes it ideal for installation in tight areas which butt directly up to an edge. The rectangular cutout ensures that the installation and alignment are precise with no extra give or the slightest chance for twisting. The quarter-turn can be installed in a pre-mounted condition and can be used for either right or left sided applications. A simple turn of the bottom plate will accommodate the change of sides.
The housing of this quarter-turn comes in polyamide, black or zinc die, or chrome plated. The GDZn quarter-turn has all the advantages of zinc die-cast components and is also waterproof and dustproof in accordance with IP 65 standards.
With D-SNAP Technology, screws and other mounting hardware are not required to secure the quarter-turn to the sheet metal panel. This quarter-turn, as with all SNAP-LINE products that incorporate D-SNAP Technology simply snaps into place in the prepared panel. This dramatically speeds up the installation process with up to 90% reduction in hardware installation time. The SNAP-LINE quarter-turn is held securely in place, even in severe vibration applications. Strength and durability are comparable to those products that are installed via traditional assembly methods.
