Quantum Announces Receipt of Additional Orders for Its Q-CabLITE(TM) CNG System through Kwik Trip Transportation Network

LAKE FOREST, Calif. –Â Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: QTWW), a global leader in natural gas storage systems, integration, and vehicle system technologies, today announced it has received additional orders for its Q-Cab(LITE) CNG module from a new customer within the Kwik Trip network of transportation providers.

Quantum's Q-Cab(LITE )and Q-Rail(LITE)™ CNG storage modules are integrated CNG fuel systems for heavy-duty truck applications. The Q-Cab(LITE )product line is installed behind the cab allowing for a larger capacity of CNG. The Q-Rail(LITE) product line is installed on the traditional open rail-space of the truck. Both systems have integral fuel receptacle(s), pressure gauge, safety systems (including shut-off valves), pressure relief device(s), pressure sensors and fuel metering subsystems (including pressure regulator and thermal management). Both modules also contain Quantum's proprietary, ultra-light Q-Lite® CNG storage cylinder, which minimizes weight while increasing fuel capacity.
