Quadro Showcases a Full Range of Solids Solutions from Lab to Production at Achema 2009 (Hall No.: 6.0, Stand No.: F7-F10)

Quadro Engineering will be showcasing their full range of solids processing solutions at the upcoming Achema Exhibition, being held May 11 - 15, 2009, at the Exhibition Grounds of Messe Frankfurt GmbH, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

For laboratory, research and development work, Quadro will be featuring the Quadro® Comil® U3 and U5 lab models. Quadro's versatile laboratory lines allow scalable repeatability, emit low heat & dust, achieve an optimum particle distribution, and are easy-to-clean and user-friendly. The U3 is lighter, more compact than the U5, and handles smaller batch sizes - as small as 100g - with negligible product retention.

For large scale processing, Quadro will be featuring our popular Quadro® Comil® Overdriven and Underdriven models. The Comil® is used in major manufacturing facilities in the Pharmaceutical, Food, Cosmetic and Personal Care industries in more than 80 countries around the world for uniform size reduction (wet, dry, heat-sensitive, sticky, fatty), sieving/screening, deagglomeration/delumping and homogeneous dispersion/mixing. Benefits of the Comil® include low heat, low noise, low dust, high capacity, quick changeover, multiple designs including cGMP, USDA, CE, OSHA, and a multitude of available options.

Also featured is the Quadro® Fine Grind Model F10. Quadro's Fine Grind Mill is used in the Pharmaceutical, Fine Chemical, Cosmetic/Personal Care and Food industries. The Model F10 produces a highly consistent and compact granulometry, with typical target zones ranging from 5 - 150µm. The F10 is a complete stand-alone process plant. Benefits include +99% product yields with a single-pass, fully contained dust-tight cGMP design, minimal space requirements, rapid product changeover and enhanced process efficiency. Other advantages include quick disassembly for maintenance, tooling change and cleaning, low power consumption and low noise. All mounted on a movable platform. The Model F10 promotes uniform grinding capabilities producing higher yields on-specification, with a wide tooling selection to meet all requirements. Available with CIP & WIP designs, suitable for inert applications, and is ATEX certified.

Brand new for Quadro in 2009, the new Quadro® ComilSift will make its debut to the market at the Show. Designed around two of our most popular product lines, the Quadro® Comil® Underdriven Series and our Quadro® FlexSift, the Quadro® ComilSift enables processors to handle two distinct tasks with one unit. With minimal effort, the Quadro® ComilSift can go from milling applications up to 15,000 lb/hr (6800 kg/hr) to security screening and delumping applications up to 99,000 lb/hr (45,000 kg/hr).
