ICP DAS USA Introduces New Industrial Quad-band 3G WCDMA Modem
ICP DAS USA introduces GTM-203M-3GWA, an industrial quad-band 3G cellular modem with RS-232 and USB interfaces. It operates on Quad-band WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100 MHz and Quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz frequencies. The GTM-203M-3GWA supports 3G network - it has the ability to switch between 3G or GPRS signals to maintain continuous connection. With an integrated TCP and UDP/IP stack, the GTM-203M-3GWA can work with simple controllers that have serial communication ports, which allows easy connection with the modem, eliminating the need for special drivers. It is the replacement of GTM-201P-3GWA.
The USB drivers support Windows XP/Vista/7/8/Server 2012, and Linux operating systems. The GTM-203M-3GWA can be used in machine monitoring, remote monitoring and maintenance applications. Systems can be SMS and GPRS connection applications with various PLC and PC's. With the voice interface, the modem can also be applied to alarm systems with sounds. It is designed for WCDMA/GPRS data, SMS and voice applications. It can works with PLC’s and other controllers via RS-232 and USB while sending out SMS or voice alarms to your cell phones and host PC via 3G/GPRS and internet.
