Low Microphonic, High Gain Pyroelectric Detectors



InfraTec GmbH has completed development of a series of "Low Microphonics" and "High Gain" pyroelectric detectors.

Designated by the prefix LMM, the InfraTec family of low microphonic detectors exhibit a 20 time reduction of detector noise output caused by mechanical vibration. This "Low Microphonic" feature increases the applications where pyroelectric detectors can be used.

InfraTec is also offering "High Gain" pyroelectric detectors. These new detectors have Responsivity of up to 100 X over standard detectors without increase in noise. This improvement has increased the Detectivity to the highest level available for industrial pyroelectric detectors.
