L&S Americas Distributor Launches New Linear Drives That Combine Highly Reliable Performance, Reduced Steering System Drag and Ultra Low Power Consumption

The new Linear Hydraulic Autopilot Drive builds on that legacy and features a number of innovative new 'NeWave' enhancements. Offering a 99% power reduction over other comparable products on the market, the system's NeWave clutch control provides zero clutch amperage draw after engagement. Optimizing autopilot functionality, the drives' NeWave linear feedback delivers precise rudder angle data directly to the control unit. The L&S system also features a re-engineered NeWave valve block that significantly reduces cylinder 'fluid drag' to provide smooth steering control and ease.
L&S Linear Hydraulic Autopilot Drives are designed for vessels up to 60-feet. Larger units can be built to order on a short lead-time basis.
