Toronto, Canada --- November 9, 2001 --- Axiomatic Technologies Corporation announced today the release of a line of PWM converters to convert Pulse Width Modulated signals into analogue signals for mobile equipment, industrial automation and power generation applications. For example, the PWM converter can be used to convert PWM signals from a speed control system to the specific current input required by a governor on a diesel engine.
PWM Converters provide a compact solution for converting digital pulse width modulated (PWM) signal into current or the reverse, current into PWM. PWM to voltage converters are also available. The converters accepting PWM input are fully isolated. Various PWM ranges within 0-100% can be accommodated. The units accept a broad range of supply voltages (24VDC nominal). Reverse polarity protection is provided. Diagnostic LEDs show power OK and output is functional. Zero and span adjustments are provided. Operational from -40 to 85C, the units are encapsulated or conformally coated for rugged environments. All PWM Converters are packaged for DIN rail mounting. OEM versions and packaging styles are available.
