PVDF (Kynar) Film
PVDF (Kynar®) is strong and tough as reflected by its tensile properties and impact strength. Compared to many thermoplastics, PVDF (Kynar) has excellent resistance to creep and fatigue. It is flexible and transparent. Stable to UV & effects of weather; Low NBS smoke generation. PVDF has excellent transmittance of solar energy.
Temperatures up to 265F; VTM-0 UL94 Rating; Excellent Chemical Resistance. Uses: Filters, Fuel Cell Seals, Medical bags, Diaphragms, Release Films, Piezoelectric films, Chemical Resistant Tank Linings. Possible substitute for Tedlar®.
We stock .003" through .020" PVDF film. No minimums. Sold by the lineal foot. Slit rolls and Die-cut parts available. Also available with Pressure Sensitive Adhesive.
