PV Cells and Modules incorporate 4-busbar technology.

Press Release Summary:

Featuring modules with power output up to 260/265 W (60-cell), Violin series is built for dependability. Distance between busbars helps decrease degree of current lost in transmission. Design, which reduces resistance between cell arrays while promoting efficacy of module conversion and cells, also lowers risk of finger interruption with optimized screen printing.

Astronergy Unveils Its New 4-Busbar Cell Technology

HANGZHOU, China – Astronergy announced it successfully developed new 4-busbar technology into PV cells and modules which are named Violin. Mass production of the Violin series will begin in September 2014.

Compared to the traditional 3-busbar cells, the Violin PV cells will have better performance, including:

-Decreasing current transmission lost due to shorter distance between busbars ;

-Reducing resistance between cell arrays;

-Increasing cell efficiency;

-Improving module conversion efficiency

-Module power output up to 260/265W (60-cell)

-Lowering the risk of finger interruption with better screen printing

-Higher dependability

All advantages of Violin PV cells will greatly benefit the customers.

"4-busbar technology is one of Astronergy's commitments to decreasing total system cost for our customers while providing higher efficiency products. With the Violin series products, Astronergy will maintain its leading position in the market in terms of cell efficiency and high-quality PV modules," Astronergy's Vice President, Dr. Lu, Chuan commented.
