Series 9000 miniature switches have 3/8 in. dia body with ¼-40 threaded bushing and .157 in. dia black glass-filled polyamide actuator. Round, Rugged Miniature Pushbutton Switches for 1/4" Panel Mounting
APEM'S 9000 series miniature momentary pushbutton switches complement miniature toggle style switches by interchangeably mounting in the same 1/4" panel hole using the two hex nuts and lockwasher supplied. The basic models have a 3/8" diameter body with 1/4-40 threaded bushing and .157" diameter black glass filled poyamide actuator. An optional cosmetic configuration has a bright metal finished .402" diameter actuator with .708" diameter panel bezel and mounts in a 5/8" diameter panel hole.
Single pole models make up this series with either Normally open, Normally closed or Normally open/Normally closed combined electrical functions. They are ideal for all applications where a miniature switch with common low power ratings up to 0.6 A 125VAC, 0.3 A 250VAC or 1 A 30VDC are required. Applications cover a broad array of products in many industries where miniature size is indicated or where mounting space is limited.
These economical pushbuttons are available with solder lug or printed circuit terminals. The printed circuit models can also be supplied with a metal restraining bracket. Epoxy terminal sealing is standard on this series for protection from contaminants during installation and soldering.
Other electricals include 50 milliohms max. contact resistance, 1500 V rms dielectric strength between terminals and case, and an electrical life in excess of 250,000 cycles.
The 9000 series models are ruggedly built for long life with their diallyl phthalate case, glass filled polyamide actuator and nickel plated brass bushing.
