Harwood Heights, ILL. - A new, miniature pushbutton switch designed to provide a wide range of vandal-resistant, military, and anti-theft solutions -- especially under harsh conditions -- is now being marketed by by ITW Switches, an Illinois Tool Works Company.
Offered with and without LED status illumination, ITW Switches' new momentary action, panel sealed Series 57 devices carry the IP67 immersion rating, making them ideal for harsh environments.
Offered with two high-brightness LED colors (red and green) and round buttons and bezels, these versatile devices also are impact resistant.
Series 57 switches are velour chrome plated zinc alloy and are extremely well suited for a broad range of applications, including security, military, industrial, flush-with-panel, process control, railway carriage equipment, external security doors, elevators, fishing vessels, crane gantry equipment, earthmoving equipment, upper deck yachting equipment, and medical instrumentation.
Contacts are gold plated palladium nickel, and terminals are gold plated brass -- all for high conductivity. This series is rated from 400mA at 32VAC to 125mA at 125VAC.
