Rockwell Automation Introduces New Allen-Bradley® Bulletin 800F Push Button Line

MILWAUKEE, Dec. 1, 2003 - Designed to meet the demanding performance, durability and safety requirements of most manufacturing applications, the new Allen-Bradley® Bulletin 800F push button line from Rockwell Automation offers superior reliability and protection in a flexible, easy-to-install design.

Using state-of-the-art solid modeling techniques and finite element analysis, the Allen-Bradley 800F push buttons are designed to provide consumers with the highest levels of durability, flexibility and safety. The 800F line features a simple assembly process, including easy, one-person mounting for faster, more cost-efficient installations.

Available in a wide variety of colors, styles, and sizes, the 800F plastic and metal operator components provide users with the flexibility to meet requirements of most applications. To complement its front panel operators, Rockwell Automation offers a variety of high-quality back-of-panel (latch, contact block and LED) components designed to fit both space and application requirements. The new flexible design incorporates interchangeable components, which allow users to combine any operator component with any back-of-panel component.

With advanced, dependable sealing techniques, the 800F line provides increased protection and corrosion resistance for IP65/66 and Type 4/4X/13 environments. The 800F line also offers increased switching safety by using rigid teeth inside all 800F selector switches to provide positive detent, which helps ensure that the teeth will not hang up between positions. For added safety, the push button line incorporates a constant energy design that adds an additional layer of protection against power interruptions due to vibration or bumping and an exclusive "self-monitoring contact block" for increased emergency stop protection. The 800F push buttons meet most worldwide standards and are UL-listed, CSA- rated, CE-marked, and Third-Party-Approved (KEMA, and RoHS- Directive compliant).
