Offered in popular industry-standard 5 mm, 3 mm and SMD packages, these innovative purple LEDs feature a high luminous intensity of 1800 mcds maximum, a 20 deg viewing angle and peak wavelengths of 437nm, and are characterized by a unique "electric" hue in a captivating pink-purple color range. The devices also feature an operating temperature range from -30° to +85° C. Lens color is water clear transparent. The new purple LEDs will also be available in a wide range of packages including 0805 through-hole and Bivar's new patented Pix-Tek(TM) Surface Mount LEDs.
