The GL Company® Announces Availability of New Purchasing Module, the Latest Addition to the Really Real Time® Inquiry Suite

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., May 14 // - The GL Company, a certified member of the Oracle(R) PartnerNetwork and the leader in the Accounting Intelligence market, announces the availability of Really Real Time(R) Purchasing. Developed in response to customer requests, Really Real Time Purchasing is the newest addition to the Really Real Time Inquiry Suite for Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and World software. The new Purchasing module is the first time that The GL Company has extended its solutions beyond financials into distribution.

"As a long-time provider of real-time inquiry for JD Edwards software, The GL Company is very aware of the needs of customers, and we listen carefully to their recommendations," said Nick Gomersall, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, The GL Company. "Customers who use JD Edwards distribution solutions have told us that they want the same rapid, flexible inquiry and reporting capabilities that we have been providing on the financial side. This introduction of Really Real Time Purchasing is our first answer to their requests, and we are targeting the release of new Sales and Inventory modules later in 2007," Gomersall said.

By enabling users to run time-consuming reports in just seconds and create real-time inquiries for rapid review and analysis without assistance from IT, The GL Company's Inquiry Suite is a true real-time inquiry, consolidation and reporting system for JD Edwards World and EnterpriseOne. For The GL Company customers, the new Purchasing module offers the ability to track and analyze Purchasing Commitments and to reconcile Received Not Vouchered transactions.

"My interest was piqued in the GL Inquiry Purchasing module because we are currently expanding online purchase orders within JD Edwards," said Lisa Hamilton, Staff Manager of AP Processes, Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. "We have a struggle because the standard reports available to us through JD Edwards don't provide everything we need. From my experience with GL Inquiry, I know the ease and time savings of being able to design reports myself versus having to ask a developer, and we're looking into Purchasing to provide those same benefits," Hamilton said.

This first release of the Really Real Time Purchasing module enables rapid drill-down to data in the JD Edwards Accounts Payable and General Ledger systems. Examples of the inquiries streamlined by the new GL Company Purchasing module include the following:

o Purchasing Commitments - this inquiry displays all commitments that
have been entered and received to enable users to easily identify open
commitments either at a detail level by supplier or at a summary level
by business unit or company.
o Received Not Vouchered - this inquiry allows users to reconcile
purchase receipts against the received not vouchered account. The
resulting report is designed to help companies accelerate their
internal purchasing and accounts payable processes, helping them to
maintain good relationships with suppliers and benefit from prompt
payment incentives.
o Goods Received Status - this inquiry enables users to track the
status of all purchase receipts and vouchering transactions. Users can
analyze the purchasing process in full detail, tracking orders and
receipts with comprehensive detail on voucher matching status and
trends for each supplier. This inquiry is an advanced feature which
allows The GL Company customers to reconcile many steps of the
purchasing process, enabling them to drill down on each receipt record
and view the purchase order lines with full detail.

Phase II of The GL Company's Purchasing module, projected for release at the end of 2007, will include enhanced integration with both the General Ledger and Accounts Payable.

The GL Inquiry Suite is currently deployed in a growing number of businesses in North America, Europe, and Australasia. The following Inquiry Suite modules are now available: AP, AR (Accounts Receivable), Fixed Assets, GL, ACA (Advanced Cost Accounting), Executive Console, Tax, Homebuilder, Job Cost, Real Estate, Budgeting, and Purchasing. Sales and Inventory modules are targeted for release in mid-2007.
