Original Press Release:

Micropump® Offers a Full Line of Peristaltic Pumps and Drives for Precision Performance Across a Variety of Applications

A complete line of Ismatec® peristaltic pumps and drives is now available from Micropump®. Used for delivery and dispensing, the pumps provide extremely accurate performance, high repeatability, and chemical resistance in a contamination-free design. The pumps feature single- and multi-channel systems with as many as 24 channels. Interchangeable pumpheads, bi-directional operation and a choice of variable or fixed-speed drives provide the flexibility to handle a variety of applications and a variety of fluids including viscous, foaming, corrosive, abrasive and aggressive. Convex rollers and concave tube beds in the single-channel pumpheads make them well suited for handling liquids containing solids or living cells. Peristaltic pumps are capable of running dry for extended periods and there is no siphoning effect when the pump is stopped.

The full peristaltic pump line includes the single-channel Flowmaster FMT 30; the microprocessor-controlled 1 and 8 channel Ecoline; the compact Reglo with 1, 2 or 4 channels; the IP & IPC high precision pump series with 4, 8, 12, 16 or 24 channels; and the MS-CA 2 and 4 channel stand-mounted units. Also available are the MCP/BVP PC-programmable pumps with 1 to 24 channels, and a complete line of OEM panel mounted pumps. Flow rates for the complete line range from <0.001 ml/min to 13 L/min.

Ismatec's delivery process drives are equipped with 2 or 3 potentiometers for accurate and repeatable speed settings and analog interfaces for remote control. For dispensing applications, a wide range of microprocessor-controlled drives is available featuring RS232 interfaces and fully calibrateable flow and volume rates.
