Pump Laser Diode Driver is manufactured to RoHS requirements.

Press Release Summary:

Model 763 is suited for driving 14-pin butterfly packaged laser diode modules or semiconductor optical amplifiers in CW or pulsed fiber MOPA and EDFA systems. OEM seed laser diode driver is implemented as transconductance amplifier (analog voltage in, scaled current out), with operation up to 1.2 A, 3.0 V, and pulse widths down to 10 nsec. Driver circuitry operates from single +5 V source, and all other required voltages are generated on board by switching power supplies.

Analog Modules, Inc. Announces the Release of its Model 763 OEM Seed Laser Diode Driver

Longwood, FL. Analog Modules, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of its OEM Seed Laser Diode Driver, Model 763.

The Model 763 OEM seed laser diode driver (pump laser diode driver) is ideal for driving 14-pin butterfly packaged laser diode modules or semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOA) for use in CW or pulsed fiber MOPA and EDFA systems. The driver is implemented as a transconductance amplifier (analog voltage in, scaled current out) with operation up to 1.2A, 3.0V and pulsewidths down to 10ns. The driver circuitry operates from a single +5V power source. All other required voltages are generated on the board by high efficiency switching power supplies. The 763 is manufactured to the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC requirements.
