Sanitary Pump Diaphragms from Garlock Sealing Technologies
PALMYRA, N.Y., – Garlock Sealing Technologies LLC now offers pump diaphragms for demanding sanitary applications, such as air-operated diaphragm pumps for the food and pharmaceutical industries.Â
Made of Garlock’s exclusive PTFE diaphragm material and proprietary EPDM backing, the new GYLON® ONE-UP® pump diaphragms feature the same patented rib construction as the standard industrial ONE-UP. The diaphragms are designed for use in non-abrasive service, where they provide the same level of chemical resistance and longevity. Supplied with either bolt holes or perimeter sealing beads, the one-piece diaphragms are significantly easier to install than two-piece diaphragms.
The GYLON ONE-UP is rated from +40oF to +300oF (+4oC to +149oC). The GYLON PTFE complies with FDA Regulation 21CFR177.1550, 3A Standard, NSF 61 Standard, USP Class VI Chapters 87 and 88, and USP Parts 31, 281 and 661. The EPDM backing complies with FDA Regulation 21CFR177.2600.
The diaphragms are available in the same sizes and pump offerings as the industrial versions, including Almatec, ARO, Depa, Blagdon, Flotronics, Graco, Unitec, Verder, Versamatic, Warren Rupp, Wilden and Yamada.
