New Integrated Ultrasound Pulser from Supertex Ideal for Non-Destructive Testing Applications
HV739 Delivers Up To 200V Output and 3.0A Ultrasound Pulses
SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 31, 2007 - Supertex (NasdaqGS: SUPX), a recognized
leader in high voltage analog and mixed signal integrated circuits (ICs), today
introduced the HV739, a single channel, monolithic, high speed ultrasound pulser IC
designed for non-destructive testing (NDT) applications. The IC brings together
controller logic interface circuitry, level translators, MOSFET gate drive buffers and
high current, high voltage outputs. It is designed to deliver peak output currents over
3.3A with up to a 200V swing.
The HV739 features matched delay times, up to 10 MHz operating frequency,
over temperature sensing, under voltage protection, and a 1.8V to 5.0V CMOS logic
interface. It employs a direct coupling topology to facilitate easier board layout.

HV739 is ideally suited for the next generation of high resolution NDT machines,"

The HV739 is available in a 32-lead QFN package (HV739K6-G). The part is
Green and RoHS compliant. Samples are available from stock. Lead-time for
production quantities is 4-6 weeks ARO. Pricing is US$4.68 each for the HV739K6-G
in 1K quantities.
