Walbro Engine Management Introduces New Pulse Fuel Pump Suitable for Applications up to 25 Horsepower

TUCSON, Arizona, June 23 2005 -Walbro Engine Management's new FPC fuel pump offers exceptional performance in a cost-effective, fully-serviceable design.

The Walbro FPC pulse-type pump provides excellent dry lift performance and flow capacity for use with two or four stroke engines up to 25 horsepower or more; the actual pressure, flow and lift are dependent on the specific application.

The FPC provides a cost-effective alternative in many applications to Walbro's FPB (formerly WIP) pulse pump, which handles engines to 40 hp. Other Walbro pulse pumps are available for applications ranging from six to 125 hp.

The FPC's fully-serviceable design is an easy retrofit for existing applications. Mounting is provided by two 1/4" (6 mm) diameter holes on 2.75" (70 mm) centers. Inlet, outlet and pulse fittings are designed for 1/4" (6.3 mm) hose.

The body of the FPC is manufactured from an engineered composite material, providing excellent corrosion resistance.

The FPC pump is designed to operate on gasoline. An alcohol option is available for motorsports applications.

Technical support for the FPC is available from Walbro Engine Management facilities in the US and Japan.
