Ritron LoudMouth® Wireless PA System

February 2009

Cuts Costs & Eliminates Re-Wiring

Carmel, Indiana - Whether you need to add an emergency notification system to your facility or replace a worn out PA system, the LoudMouth Wireless PA System may be the solution for you.

The system consists of an independent wireless receiver, wired to a companion horn speaker. Each receiver can accommodate up to 2 horn speakers. The receiver and speaker(s) can then be positioned anywhere, inside or outside a facility to provide "pin-point" wireless PA coverage to detached buildings or remote areas. Multiple receiver and speaker pairs can even be used to create a facility-wide PA system. The system eliminates the need to re-wire an entire facility and permits PA communication in areas where long distances or obstructions would otherwise make wired connections inefficient, costly or even impossible. A unique benefit of the system, besides being wireless, is that it allows staff to use business band 2-way radios to access the system and make "live" PA announcements. Receivers are offered in the VHF and UHF frequency bands and are compatible with virtually any brand business-band radio. The ability to use portable 2-way radios to access the system allows employees to remain mobile and productive throughout the day; yet retain the ability to make instantaneous PA pages, when needed. "Fixed location" paging stations are also available. (www.ritron.com/prod_jbs.html)

Product features include:
Adjustable speaker volume (maximum volume 85dB@ 50ft), The receivers operating frequency can be PC programmed to work with other "existing" 2-way radio systems. The receiver requires 110VAC for power and includes a wall cube power supply, rechargeable 2-hour back-up battery, indoor/outdoor horn speaker with 25 feet cable that attaches to receiver, flex antenna and mounting bracket. An optional outdoor weatherproof enclosure for the wireless receiver is available.
