PTFE Insulated Heaters Ideal for Corrosive Environments

Minco Thermofoil(TM) heaters with PTFE insulation are ideal for applications where caustic or corrosive chemicals are present. Only 0.025" thin, these heaters are resistant to most acids and
bases. Sealed PTFE insulated leadwires allow immersion of the heaters in chemicals such as acid baths, etching systems and chemical processing tanks.

PTFE insulated heaters are also ideal for medical and pharmaceutical applications where the clean, inert properties of the insulation material prevent contamination. Suitable for operation to 260°C (500°F) and capable of power densities of to 50 watts/sq. in. at 100°C., PTFE insulated heaters provide fast gentle warming of critical materials.

Optional features include integrated or discrete temperature sensors (RTD, thermocouple or thermistor), special shapes and cutouts, and profiled watt density designs.
