Newtex Introduces the X Series Proximity and Fire Entry Suits

Newtex Industries is proud to announce the general availability of the X Series line of industrial proximity and fire entry suits. These athletically inspired suits utilize the latest performance materials and pattern making technology for superior fit and unmatched thermal protective performance (TPP). The X Series suits will replace Newtex’s line of NXP Legacy Series proximity and fire entry suits.

The new suits range from the X10 single layer proximity suit to the heavily insulated X60 fire entry suit. The new X30 and X40 middle-weight suits were specifically designed to bridge a gap in protection that previously existed in Newtex’s NXP Legacy Series. It is now even easier for customers to find the appropriate protection from heat, fire, molten metal, and radiant energy without being bogged down by unnecessary layers of insulation. All of the suits feature an advanced Z-Flex® Multilayer Aluminized performance shell and deliver more protection at a lower weight than Newtex’s NXP Legacy Suits.

Newtex has been manufacturing extreme temperature PPE since 1980 and is recognized as the leading global expert in the design and manufacture of fire entry and insulated maintenance suits. Many of the new features incorporated into the X Series are a result of feedback acquired over the years from the people who have trusted Newtex to protect them in their challenging high temperature environments.

“Our customers were instrumental in our development process,” said Jerry Joliet, CEO of Newtex. “The feedback we received ranged from ideas to enhance fit and comfort to requests for additional protection. We’re looking forward to hearing more from the early adopters of the X Series suits – I think that users will quickly appreciate an increase in comfort, safety, and productivity in these new suits.”
