A line of expandable plastic sleeving for cabling that protects against dragging and tripping accidents in situations where personnel are often walking is available from Nelco Products, Inc. of Pembroke, Massachusetts.
Protecto(TM) Expandable Safety Sleeving is an abrasion-resistant woven plastic covering for cables that is offered in highly visible safety colors to help prevent tripping accidents. Easy to install, it expands up to three times its size to fit over connectors and then fits snugly over the cabling to provide an extra level of protection against abrasion from dragging.
Featuring bright yellow, orange, red, blue, green, pink, and other colors, Protecto(TM) Expandable Safety Sleeving comes in sizes from 1/8" to 2 ½" I.D.; supplied splice-free on spools up to 1,000 ft. long or precut from 4" long. Materials include polyester, polypropylene, Halar®, Teflon®, Nylon®, and Kevlar®. Colors are also suitable for product or system identification.
